After using several times of the Little White (EF 70-200mm IS USM), I realize that it’s too heavy for a whole day shooting task.
For a very long time, I have refused to buy a battery grip for my 20D as I don’t want to put extra weight to the camera. However, the Little White is too heavy and make my hand hurt after shooting my friend’s wedding day. The only solution is to add a hand strap. Although there are a lot of hand straps from provider other than Canon, they look weird and qualities are not as good as Canon’s. The Canon hand strap is only avaliable when you have attached a battery grip. Then I have new equipment this week again, the BG-E2N battery grip and E1 hand strap. Wow… the battery grip is a lot heavier than I ever thought. But with the extra shutter, AE lock and the AF point selector buttons, it does helps shooting in vertical orientation. After attaching the battery grip, it’s time to install the hand strap. But… where are the instructions? How can I have it installed properly with my neck strap? After some googling, here is the manual.

Frankly speaking, I have never seen this before. I don’t know if it’s in any page of my camera manual. In the old day when I was with my EOS 33 (hum… it reminds my bad story again) , I had this hand strap too but I can tell that I installed it totally wrong.
